2617 NBC issued a press release (below) with their list of upcoming hosts for Saturday Night Live and we see Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be returning for his second time on September 22nd.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt played Gotham Police Officer John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises.

Spoilers follow.

At the end of the movie not only was it revealed that Blake's first name is actually Robin, but Robin also discovers the Batcave.

In addition, I would say Blake did most of the detective work (i.e. Batman, the world's greatest detective) in the movie as well.

As of late, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been making the rounds on all the talks shows, to talk about The Dark Knight Rises as well as his upcoming sci-fi time travel thriller, Looper, that also stars Bruce Willis.

On one talk show in particular, Late Night With Jimmy Kimmel, JGL was asked about doing another Batman movie, to which he said it wasn't up to him, but did seem rather enthused as he laughed along side Kimmel.

Now with Joseph Gordon-Levitt appearing on SNL, will we see a skit with the actor as Batman? Or how about Robin?

Maybe we'll get an Adam West cameo as well.

Tune in September 22nd at 11:30 on NBC to catch Joseph Gordon-Levitt on Saturday Night Live.
