Thor 2013: First Official Chris Hemsworth Image Revealed

Before we know it, Thor 2, "The Dark World," will be hammering into theaters.

Hopefully we get the first Thor 2 trailer soon, but while we wait a new image of Chris Hemsworth has landed online via Empire Magazine.

Though there have been literally hundreds of images of Chris Hemsworth, this is our first official look at Thor with director Alan Taylor.

The movie promises to feature lots action with Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje previously letting loose a bunch of Thor 2 spoilers that included Chris Hemsworth as well as Tom Hiddleston as the diabolical trickster, Loki.

Recently, Jaimie Alexander, Sif, also hinted that she will be having scenes with Natalie Portman, girlfriend to Thor, Jane Foster.

Thor 2: The Dark World hammers into theaters November 8th, 2013 directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones), starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin,  Idris Elba as Heimidall, Zachary Levi as Fandral and Jaimie Alexander as Sif, Christopher Eccleston as Malekith the Accursed, Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Kurse.

Synopsis:
