The new Star Trek villain, Benedict Cumberbatch, in the J.J. Abrams-directed sequel briefly spoke on being cast for the role.
While Cumberbatch most likely can only be persuaded to give details by the larva of a Ceti Eel, he did offer up not only his excitement, but stated that the less they give fans the better it will be for them.
"It's a great job to get, and I'm thrilled. I can tell you nothing. There's a lawyer standing here saying that I can't say anything. You are like kids who want to eat the entire box of chocolates. There should be some magic and enigma. If we can hold it back, you will have more to look forward to."
"I'm hugely, hugely excited and I'm very, very flattered. I'm very, very excited... I'm just getting my head around the fact that it's happened. If you'll forgive me, I'll pass on that. But, my headline is that I'm over the moon."
