With Marvel Studios having so many release dates for untitled movies as well as seemingly having the Midas touch (i.e. Guardians of the Galaxy), movies featuring the other characters are becoming a major hot topic.

And right in the heat of things is a Scarlett Johansson Black Widow movie, especially considering Johansson's recent "super hero" movie, Lucy, is closing in on $300 million without being tied to Marvel or The Avengers franchise.

Stan Lee recently stated he thinks Marvel will eventually do a Black Widow movie, and now Robert Downey Jr. takes it a step further by stating he thinks there should be movies for not only Black Widow, but for Hawkeye and more films for Hulk as well.

USA Today caught up with Robert Downey Jr. at the Toronto Film Festival where they first note Jessica Chastain is all for a Black Widow movie: “Where is the Scarlett Johansson superhero movie? I don’t understand it, why is it taking so long for this?”

Regarding Robert Downey Jr., he fist gave kudos to Gwyneth Paltrow for her performances in the Iron Man movies before stating it makes sense to have a Black Widow movie spinning out of the The Avengers.

It would be kind of more appropriate for a character that already was like a Black Widow (to lead a movie). It just seems like whatever Scarlett does people want to go see it.”

Robert Downey Jr. then also added that after seeing The Avengers 2, Hawkeye and Jeremy Renner should get their own flick, with mention of continuing the Hulk franchise.

“The funny thing is honestly at this point everyone deserves a franchise. I think Jeremy Renner is — when folks see the Avengers: Age of Ultron he’s just a rockstar, a bada–. And Ruffalo is pumped. He does great (work). I’d like to hear them talk even more seriously about a Hulk franchise, because that’s been one of the toughest ones to get right. But I’m sure that my parent company is feeling expansive and and bold after the summer they’ve had.”

Black Widow, Hawkeye and Hulk will be joining Iron Man in next May's The Avengers 2.
