New Robocop (2013) To Be More Human; Features See-Through Visor

While promoting the second season of The Killing, Joel Kinnaman offered a few details on the upcoming Robocop reboot.

Ӣ The movie will be more grounded in reality as director Jos̩ Padilha's father was a scientist.

”¢  It's being called a "re-imagination," with "a lot of stuff from the original," with some details and throwbacks.

”¢  We'll see more of Kinnaman's face when he is Robocop, and we will see through his eyes.

”¢  The visor is going to be see-through.

”¢  It's going to have a political satire to it.

"Yeah. It’s going to be different," Kinnaman tells MTV. "But it's very good. I was looking to do a big movie and to show that I can carry a big movie, and I couldn’t be happier that this is going to be one of those big movies, a blockbuster, but that is also a real movie. A movie-movie."

Robocop opens in theaters August 9th, 2013.
