New Guardians of the Galaxy Movie Details Include Thanos, Gamora, & Drax Wanting To Kill Ronan

A batch of new Guardians of the Galaxy movie details has surfaced from the latest issue of Empire Magazine mentioning Thanos, Gamora, Drax, Star-Lord, Nebula, Korath and Ronan.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige let loose the following details on the characters:
On the Guardians of the Galaxy:
They are an unlikely band. It's pure circumstance that brings them all together throughout the course of the movie.
On Rocket Raccoon:
Rocket has been genetically and mechanically altered, he's an experiment from one part of the galaxy.
Groot is a species that happens to look like trees look, and is quite communicative if you can understand the different inflections in the way he says, 'I am Groot.'
Peter Quill left Earth in the mid'80s, but when we meet back up with him he is very much a citizen of the universe.
Drax has one goal and one goal only, which is to kill Ronan because of a past tragedy.
On Gamora, Nebula, Korath, Ronan and Thanos:
When we meet Gamora, she's a bad guy working with Ronan and Nebula and Korath, and by extension for Thanos. Gamora doesn't necessarily like doing that anymore, and tries to find a new path for herself. But she has a reputation as the deadliest woman in the galaxy that people aren't greeting her with open arms.
The Guardians of the Galaxy movie has an August 1, 2014 release directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt as Peter Quill Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer and Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Benicio Del Toro as The Collector, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Lee Pace as Ronan, Djimon Hounsu as Korath the Pursuer, with John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey and Glen Close as Nova Prime.
Also rumored for the movie are Ophelia Lovibond and Enzo Cilenti with the voice actors for Rocket Raccoon and Groot yet to be cast.
