Spoilers follow for the Man of Steel movie revealing a potentially huge super Easter Egg!

Spoilers follow.

If you happened to purchase advance tickets to the Man of Steel June 13th advanced screening at Walmart (still on sale!), you also got a free prequel digital comic book with the story from Zack Snyder, David Goyer and Geoff Johns.

As Cosmic Book News reported on, the Man of Steel prequel comic book featured Kara Zor-El, otherwise known as Supergirl in the comic books.

Well, the story revealed that the Fortress of Solitude is actually Kara's ship from Krypton that crash-landed on Earth thousands of years ago.

The last we saw of Kara was she was strapped in the chair with the computer stating: "initiating self-repair!"

Now comes the Man of Steel movie spoiler in relation.

In a recent interview with CraveOnline, producer Deborah Snyder reveals that as Clark walks through the Fortress of Solitude -- and one of the pods is opened!

You know what’s interesting, and I don’t know and I’m not going to say what it means or anything, but the one thing if you look closely when Henry’s going through the Fortress of Solitude there’s an empty… you know all the bodies… the pods? There’s an empty pod. I’m not going to say what, or if, it means anything but there is an empty pod there.

Snyder doesn't offer anything more, but we are assuming that it's Supergirl as in the Man of Steel comic book prequel story, she is the only one left alive!

As we previously theorized, it's quite possible the Kryptonian computer healed Supergirl, and as her pod opens, Kal-El hears some sort of signal alerting him to its presence.

You can head on over here for a second confirmed Man of Steel Easter Egg, and our DC Entertainment source also said one is included for the Martian Manhunter.

Man of Steel opens June 14th in IMAX 3D directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Michael Shannon as Zod.
