Gunn posted an image of the Nasa "Hand of God" image (right) that was recently released, kidding that it was a part of the promotion for the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
The Hand of God Pulsar Wind Nebula was captured by NASA in photographs yesterday. It was a lot of hard work by the Marvel crew and me, but I think we pulled off this little tease for Guardians of the Galaxy splendidly. Thanks to Disney for spending the big promotional bucks.
He then offered that the next promotion won't be coming for a couple months.
We're saving Rocket for our second Nebula, which won't be out for a couple months.
It's looking more than likely that the trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy will be released with the April premiere of Captain America 2.
With Guardians of the Galaxy debuting in August, that leaves a tight window to promote the movie with only four months.
The first Iron Man 3 trailer hit about seven months before its own release.
Bear in mind that James Gunn didn't confirm the release date for the trailer.
Guardians of the Galaxy has an August 1, 2014 release in the U.S.
