A batch of rumors has hit the net in regards to the Jesse Eisenberg Lex Luthor we might see in Batman Vs. Superman.

Yesterday in their report about Tom Hanks being confirmed as a contender for Lex Luthor, THR also stated that the Jesse Eisenberg Lex Luthor will have been a childhood friend of Clark Kent, which keeps in line with what we have seen in the Smallville TV series in which Michael Rosenbaum portrayed the character.

It's an interesting notion, because as seen in Man of Steel, Clark's childhood friends knew he had powers and was Superman. So does that mean Lex does, too?

The simililarites with Smallville end there, however, as the next batch of rumors come from Latino Review who suggest that Lex Luthor goes from rags to riches and will have his origins set in the streets.

It's said that: yes, Lex is bald; he shaves his head. It's also said that this version of Lex will don a full sleeve tatto of the Metropolis skyline on his arm and is the richest man in the planet having become a self-made billionaire by the age of 18.

Lex is described as street tough as it's reported the character was living on the streets at the age of 14 when he joined a street gang, and by the age of 15 the gang was answering to him.

The rest of the description is pretty much what everybody has been speculating in that Bruce Wayne comes to Metropolis to help out after all the destruction. Bruce and Lex are said to be at odds with Lex viewing Bruce as a Trust Fund baby while Bruce views Lex as an arrogant brat. It's said the two have opposing views of Superman as well, as Bruce wants something of a more peaceful resolution while Lex views Superman as an alien.
