The Hobbit (2012): Gandalf, Galadriel and Elrond Art

Shared by Gandalf himself, actor Ian McKellen posted the following on his Facebook, which I believe is a scene from Peter Jackson's upcoming movie The Hobbit.

We see Gandalf in the background talking to Galadriel (Cate Blanchett) with Elrond (Huge Weaving) looking at some plans in the foreground.

Really nice image.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters December 14th, 2012 with the sequel, The Hobbit: There And Back, a year later on December 13th, 2013.

Ian McKellen returns as Gandalf the Grey with Martin Freeman playing Bilbo Baggins.

Also reprising their roles from “The Lord of the Rings” movies are: Cate Blanchett as Galadriel; Orlando Bloom as Legolas; Ian Holm as the elder Bilbo; Christopher Lee as Saruman; Hugo Weaving as Elrond; Elijah Wood as Frodo; and Andy Serkis as Gollum.
