Ryan Reynolds will be hosting an advance screen of the Green Lantern movie for the U.S. Military in celebration of Father's Day on June 16th.
The Green Lantern movie opens in theaters June 17th, 2011 starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris, Peter Sarsgaard as Hector Hammond, Mark Strong as Sinestro and Temuera Morrison as Abin Sur.

Ryan Reynolds to Host Advance Screening of “Green Lantern” Feature Film at MCAS Miramar
MIRAMAR, Calif.--Actor Ryan Reynolds will make an appearance at MCAS Miramar Bob Hope Theater to introduce an advance screening of “Green Lantern” on Thursday, June 16, at 12:45 p.m. for Marines and their families in celebration of Father’s Day.
Media representatives will have the opportunity to interview, photograph and film Marines, sailors and families in attendance, as well as the film’s star, Ryan Reynolds.
Interested media must R.S.V.P. with the Miramar Public Affairs Office at 858-577-6000 / 858-864-3406 by noon Wednesday, June 15.
We will rendezvous with all media organizations at the parking lot next to the East Gate. (Take the Miramar Way exit from I-15 and make a right into the parking lot on the right - the gate guard should direct you there.)
