picJudging by the sheer number of leaks and rumors associated with Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises - it's going to be the biggest movie to hit in 2012 -- no surprise to fans of the previous two.

Gary Oldman, Commissioner Gordon, who Cosmic Book News reported on a few days ago saying the movie to be "fantastic" has let it spill on a villain for the movie.

Well, we already do know three - Bane and Talia al G'hul, with rumor of Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character - but Oldman stated there will be a villain "back from the old comics."

Here is the specific quote via Eonline:

I think it's a villain from one of the old, old, from way back from the old comics. It is a Batman villain... It's not going to be the Joker.

So just who could it be?

Penguin?

Robin Williams as the Riddler?

Two-Face is also rumored to be coming back as Aaron Eckhart teased to CBS news that he couldn't say if his character would be returning - with a big smile on his face.

Now, in addition to Catwoman, I just hope this movie doesn't get too big of a superstar cast reminiscent of previous Batman movies which turned out to be terrible; however with Nolan on board I'm not worried - yet.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and is directed by Christopher Nolan starring Christan Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane and Ane Hathaway as Selina Kyle.
