Dwayne Johnson In Talks To Play Lobo Confirmed; Silver and Peyton Working On Movie Now

While we here at Cosmic Book News asked Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson if he would be playing Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, the wrestling-turned-actor superstar offered up that he is in talks to play another bad ass character — Lobo.

It's been mentioned for some time now that Johnson is the current favorite to play the "Main Man," and now a fan asked The Rock during his Twitter Q&A if the rumors are true.

Yep!

And The Rock mentions that Joel Silver and Brad Peyton are working on Lobo now.

Peyton has been named as director, and previously, Producer Joel Silver was working on another Lobo movie from 2009 with Guy Ritchie — which Lobo fans hope is not being used for this one.
