As many have thought from the previously released Guardians of the Galaxy movie concept art that seemingly featured the Nova Corps insignias we now have an apparent confirmation of their inclusion (see pic below).

AICN has been notified that someone working on the production of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie let it slip at dinner that the Nova Corps will be involved and are "definitely part of the movie."

No other details are known, but this makes complete sense as Kevin Feige recently stated the movie takes place 95% in space, and Gunn said it's in another galaxy.

If you are a regular reader of Cosmic Book News you know Marvel Comics recently did away with the leader of the Nova Corps, Nova Prime Richard Rider, to promote another Spider-Man teen character, which has really ticked off and divided the fan base.

I, for one, certainly hope that the new NINO (Nova In Name Only Nova) Nova Sam Alexander WILL NOT be a part of this movie.

The good news may be that Gunn seems to be sticking with DnA's version of Guardians of the Galaxy and recently told fans to "TRUST ME" when asked about how much Abnett and Lanning's stuff would be involved.
