The Dark Knight Rises (2012): Muscular Bane Promo Art

Here is a better look at Bane promo art that we have seen before from The Dark Knight Rises.

Of particular interest is the size of the muscles of this image of Bane, as in — they are big.

Fans have not kept quiet about this fact, that actor Tom Hardy doesn't represent the jacked-up-on-Venom comic book version of Bane, as Tom Hardy is said to look small. 

However, there could be reason for that.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th, 2012 and is directed by Christopher Nolan starring Christian Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Michael Cain as Alfred, Juno Temple and Josh Pence as a young Ra's al Ghul.
