A Better Look At The New Robocop Suit?

Today saw the first set images from Toronto reveal the new look of Robocop.

The suit is a much different take than the original Peter Weller Robocop classic — to say the least.

The Cosmic Book News Facebook and Twitter feeds have been lit up with comments, both for and against.

I'll say that fans of the original Robocop are very loyal to that version, so it's definitely a bold move on the part of new director Jose Padilha.

The Toronto Robocop shoot showed off Joel Kinnaman, but we previously got a look at the new suit some time back in July through concept art.

Check it out. The art is apparently from artist Mike Jensen.

Robocop opens August 9, 2013, directed by Jose Padilha, starring Joel Kinnaman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, and Gary Oldman.
