Batman Vs. Superman Already Up To $131 Million Budget; Shoots On-Location In Michigan

Batman Vs. Superman already is up to a budget of $131 million as that is the amount Warner Bros. will be investing in the Michigan scenes.

Note: That doesn't include the rest of the movie which is reported to be filming in Morocco, Chicago and possibly Toronto.

A report from a CBS Detroit affiliate states that Batman Vs. Superman will film in Michigan for months bringing in stars Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck to the Michigan Motion Picture Studios in Pontiac. No mention is made of Gal Gadot, the newly announced Wonder Woman.

Michelle Grinnell, the public relations officer for the Michigan Film Office, offered up the news of Warner Bros. budget of $131 million, which marks Batman Vs. Superman as the largest movie to film in the state.

It's further noted that Zack Snyder will not only be filming Batman Vs. Superman at Michigan Motion Pictures Studio, but will be on-location as well, which will give eager fans a look at their favorite superheroes. Fans should also check the Michigan Films studio website for opportunities to appear in the movie or work behind-the-scenes.

Snyder already shot one scene for Batman Vs. Superman in LA depicting the Smallville and Gotham City football teams.

The latest news and rumor surrounding the movie includes Dwayne Johnson up for a role and Bryan Cranson rumored once again for Lex Luthor.

"Batman Vs. Superman" has a July 17, 2015 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot.
